ESTABLISHED IN 1953, THE ARDEN MANOR RECREATION AND
PARK DISTRICT IS A CALIFORNIA SPECIAL DISTRICT LOCATED IN THE
ARDEN ARCADE AREA OF SACRAMENTO COUNTY.
About. A little about Arden Manor.
SINCE 1953.

MISSION

The mission of Arden Manor Recreation and Park District is to serve all District residents by providing positive recreation experiences and by preserving and maintaining parklands and facilities through efficient and effective management.

A CALIFORNIA SPECIAL DISTRICT

Special districts are a form of local government created by a local community to meet a specific need. Inadequate tax bases and competing demands for existing taxes make it hard for cities and counties to provide all the services their citizens desire. When residents or landowners want new services or higher levels of existing services, they can form a district to pay for and administer them.
